Kenya’s Hip Hop Star Jackson Ngechu Makini aka ‘Prezzo’ has been in the news this year for all the wrong reasons with things not related to his music but to his personal life; be it the women or speculations about his finances.
But well, the singer has made a magical comeback by releasing his latest single titled ‘Vumilia’ and truth be told he still has it Musically.
Prezzo is a major player in the Kenyan and East African rap scene and was best known for hits such as Naleta Action, Let’s Get Down, Mimi na Wewe and Mafans among others.
In his latest song Vumilia, the beat is so melodious, the chorus is also infectious because the young girl singing it does a stellar job. Prezzo also rhymes drawing you in. The whole essence of the song is that Prezzo is speaking about his life and his struggles and how he has been able to wade through the muck and still endure. He also urges the listener to strive even if life may be hard.
‘Vumilia’ was produced by Sappy, a well-known producer from Tanzania based in Nairobi Kenya. The video was directed by Cream Vision directors, based in Kenya.
