Celebrated television personality, Douglas Lwanga might be leaving NBS TV sooner than we all expected. The presenter left NTV at the beginning of this year.

The award-winning TV presenter, Lwanga Douglas, who left Serena based NTV to join Kamwokya based NBS TV might still be on his way out again. He is said to be leaving NBS for another TV job away from Uganda.

Douglas is said to have been handed an unavoidable big contract by Kenyan media house to be able to acquire his services in our sister country Kenya. Douglas was approached by agents from Kenyan based KISS TV to negotiate and agree terms towards a possible switch to Kenya.

The agents from KISS TV were sent by their bosses back in their country to lure Douglas with enticing deal to have him commit his services to their media station. They are actually ready to buy out what is remaining of Douglas’ contract at the station he currently works at and promise to pay him a juicier salary when he commits himself to their station.

With this step, Kiss TV seem to be aiming at dominating the East African airwaves and viewership since they are looking forward to recruiting most of the ‘bug guns’ in the media industry allover East Africa.

Douglas is yet to speak out about the rumor, but we shall keep you posted on all the developments.
