After we reported a few weeks ago, about the worrying condition of bedridden music producer Rinex, fellow producers and artistes have started a fundraising campaign to help raise funds for the ill Rinex.

Rinex was flown to India about three weeks ago after a reported liver problem. The doctors here advised his family that he should receive better medical care to be able to save his life. Rinex’s close friends and family raised a few funds to foot the bills at the start of the producer’s treatment in India but the bills have now escalated and the funds seem not to be readily available.

It is to the above effect that artistes and fellow producers have started the ‘Save Producer Rinex, Save Uganda Music‘ car wash, a fundraising event that will be held at the Autospa Car Wash Bay in Munyonyo on 27th March 2018. The event is intended to raise money and any other form of solicited help that can be sent to Rinex’s family in India to help them foot the hospital bills for the ill producer.

The norm of car wash fundraising campaigns has been going on for sometime now for many other celebrities that have fallen ill and failed to foot their hospital bills. It is the strongest act of solidarity among celebrities and we hope it will be able to save our talented producer this time round.

Get well soon Rinex!
