Following the successful music career of Eddy Kenzo in conjunction with the rapid winning of International Music Awards, NBS’ After 5 presenter MC Kats has revealed his early memories with the musician.
The emotional MC Kats came out yesterday to reveal all this after Eddy Kenzo decided to take all his International awards and donating them to the Uganda Museum for public access.
MC Kats who reveled that he used to work at High Table bar along Kampala road when the little Eddy Kenzo approached him and begged him to step on stage in order for him to just get at least two thousands shillings transport back home.
Kats went on to reveal that he didn’t know Eddy Kenzo and honestly he had refused because they were many artists who were already lined up to perform. Later on one of his friends asked him to help Eddy Kenzo a thing Kats gave a second thought and he was allowed on stage.
After performing Kenzo put Kats aside and narrated to him how he was from a show in Kawempe and hadn’t been paid and Kats promised him that he will be performing at every stage he sees him and the rest is history today.
In a post seen by MBU, Eddy Kenzo has went ahead to appreciate Kats for his big contribution to the music industry more so the young generation.
