Wahu released her new song titled ‘My Everything‘ a few weeks ago. She just released the video to the song and she states that the project was inspired by a true story surrounding her life.

Legendary Kenyan songstress Wahu Kagwi was the topic of discussion at the start of the year when she publicly announced that she had surrendered her life to Christ and was saved. For a fact, Wahu has for many years been one of top female artistes in East Africa, singing those very many club bangers that we have always grooved to. For her to come out and state that all that was no more and she was now re-branding to singing  gospel music must have broken a few hearts.

However, the ‘Sweet Love’ singer revealed that salvation is destiny and hers had arrived. Wahu released her first gospel song ‘Sifa’ last year and now she is back with ‘My Everything, which she claims was inspired by a true story of the events surrounding her life.

‘My Everything’ was produced by Teddy B, and the video was directed by Trued Pictures. In description of her new song, Wahu who is married to fellow singer Nameless stated;

My Everything talks of a woman who sought Gods intervention when her husband and father of her children suddenly fell ill, on an ordinary morning as the family went about their normal morning routines. At her point of desperation, and realizing that her husband’s life was on the balance, she called on Jehovah Rapha, God our healer to reveal Himself …. and He did.
