Diamond Platnumz is in deep trouble over the raunchy videos that he posted on his Instagram stories on Sunday. The Tanzanian government ridicules Diamond’s post saying it misleads the young generation and it is against the country’s norms and social values.
When the Ugandan government announced that they were proposing a tax to tackle poor social media usage it received mixed reactions from many Ugandans saying that government is lacking what to do. The Tanzanian government however has always has laws against poor use of social media and their latest victim to violate the law is popular singer Diamond Platnumz.
On Sunday evening, the ‘Hallelujah’ singer posted raunchy videos of himself in bed with an unidentified girl. The two were later joined by the mother of Diamond’s baby Hamisa Mobetto. The videos went viral and many social media users reacted differently to the nature of the videos.
The Tanzanian government has now arrested Diamond and put him into custody for the raunchy videos. The government says the videos portray wrong behavior and go against the country’s acceptable norms. Furthermore, the government believes the videos are misleading the young generation which consists of Diamond’s biggest fan base.
Diamond has not been prosecuted for crime yet but this arrest could leave Zari and her fans in celebratory mood, for obvious reasons.
