Not like he has not said this before, but this time Frank Gashumba makes Jose Chameleone seem like a god of sorts. The prominent entrepreneur and human rights activist has endorsed the ‘Champion’ singer saying he is the master of music in Uganda.
In 2015, Sisimuka Uganda’s Founder Frank Gashumba came out and publicly announced how Joseph Mayanja a.k.a Jose Chameleone was the most popular artiste in Uganda, if not East Africa. This came in a statement when he mentioned his list of the top three most known personalities in the Pearl of Africa. His list contained President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the then political opposition leader Kizza Besigye, and singer Jose Chameleone in that order.

This has since been despised by various Ugandans who claim the list is only influenced by friendship and personal relationship with the above mentioned, but Frank Gashumba is known to be a man who stands his ground and he has again made it clear to whoever cares to listen that;
In Uganda, there is no singer better than Jose Chameleone.
