Diamond Platnumz has finally apologized for the raunchy videos that he posted on Instagram of him with Hamisa Mobetto and another girl in bed. He says the videos should have been kept private.

At the start of this week, one of the most trending stories that hit the East African internet was of the explicit videos of Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz with Hamisa Mobetto and another lady in bed. The videos showed Diamond smooching and touching the two girls, and it was posted on Diamond Platnumz Instagram stories.

Diamond was summoned by the police to answer charges about being a public nuisance after some Tanzanian members of parliament condemned the singer for posting inappropriate videos online. The parliamentarians argued that these videos promote moral decay among the youth, and are totally against the country’s code of conduct and societal values.

Diamond later removed the clip and has admitted that he was irresponsible with his actions and begged for forgiveness. The ‘Hallelujah’ singer had this to say;

I have had a long conversation with the authorities and I have learnt that what I did was not right. As a role model to many young people, not just Tanzania but across the continent, posting a private moment was irresponsible of me.

Do you forgive him?
