It is almost a trademark for Miles Rwamiti asking money and other materialistic from the celebrities he hosts on his ‘Koona’ show on Spark TV. This is the same issue that has allegedly landed him in problems with his managers, who are considering a decision to axe him.

Rwamiti has been accused by Serena based Spark Television managers of allegedly soliciting money form celebrities, and fraud. The TV presenter is said to promise airplay to the artistes he hosts on his show and in return he always demands they give him some money.

Most notably, Bryan White is alleged to have given Rwamiti over Shs 1m to give extended airplay to the artistes under the Bryan White Foundation namely Weasel, King Micheal, Big Eye, Pallaso, among others. The deal was intended to promote these artistes’ music.

Rwamiti however failed to fulfill his side of the bargain and it is said that Bryan White contacted the management of Nation Media and blew the whistle about Rwamiti’s backdoor deals. This was received with mixed reactions from the management who warned Rwamiti, but the presenter seems to have gone ahead with his dealings.

The management is now planning on firing him and replacing him with a yet to be revealed presenter. We hope they reverse their decision.
