Songstress Zanie Brown premiered her new video for the song titled ‘Muggulu‘ in a Master Dinner on Saturday at Garden Hotel, Entebbe. It was attended by fans, media personalities and government officials who pledged their support to the artiste.

Zanie Brown is a sensational female artiste that boasts a huge following from all classes of Ugandan music fans. Her music is easily identified to be special with inspirational message and catchy melodies. That could as well quite closely be attached to her personality.

The ‘Muyaye’ songstress owns a charity project called the ‘Zanie For Schools‘ organization. The project does charity drives in which schools and students are equipped with various scholastic materials like texts books, school bags, and football team jerseys among others.

The video premiere for Zanie Brown’s ‘Muggulu’ song was attended by various people; from media personalities, fans, and government officials. Each table at the venue cost about Shs 1m, and each of Zanie’s music CD that was being sold went for around USD 100.

The few government officials that attended were inspired by the artiste’s charity organization  and actually pledged to solicit funds from the State House in order to support her ‘Zanie For Schools’ project. Juma Seiko promised to help Zanie Brown with the project’s plans of setting up a charity home.

Zanie’s PRO/Media manager, Mr. Bossa Gonzaga, told us that the party was one of a kind and properly organized. He urged other musicians to emulate the act of holding organized video premieres because they attach value to their art.

Well, congratulations Zanie Brown.
