‘I Was Not A Fan Of Her Social Life’ – Agnes Masogange’s Father

Agnes Masogange, a Tanzanian model, video vixen, and above all a socialite known all over Africa died on Friday at the Mama Ngoma Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The actual cause of her death is reported to be pneumonia. Her father said he was not happy when he found out she was a socialite.

The generational shift in interests seems to be expanding every single day. Young people these days care about how they look, who they know, and which place is happening every day. The aspect of hard work has been labelled outdated especially by girls who have resorted to a casual social life to make ends meet.

Agnes Masogange, real names Agnes Gerald, was one of the most celebrated East African socialites, and her social media was a place often visited by most Africans on a daily basis. The video vixen had been through a couple of relationships with various celebrities including Uganda’s Meddie Sentongo.

Her father, Gerald Waya, spoke out about how she joined the celebrity life, and what he thought about it. He said;

My daughter ditched school in form two because of problems. There was a time we had a very serious big fight and I told her I don’t want her in the entertainment industry. She asked me what kind of job she could do if she was to get out of showbiz. I allowed her to pursue her dream in the long run, although I was not happy with it at all.

May her soul Rest In Peace!
