When Ronald Maro sang a song about people with ill-intentions in his ‘Bambwa’ song, he must have been forecasting what would befall him in the near future. The singer’s Instagram account was hacked yesterday by a yet to be known person.

Maro joins the huge list of Ugandan celebrities whose social media accounts have been deprived of them by hackers, who usually ask for money in order to hand them back. Just last year, Jose Chameleone’s Instagram account was also hacked by an unknown Tanzanian who asked for money to hand it over back to the ‘Champion’ singer.

Maro posted the issue on Facebook to alert his fans so that they do not fall prey of the hacker’s yet to be known intentions.

The R&B Kyabazinga is looking to acquire help from a few specialists who can help recover his account as soon as possible because he believes social media is one of the greatest tools of music promotion in this generation and he cannot afford to lose that.

We really hope he recovers the account. Good luck Maro!
