Ykee Benda has landed another big collaboration, this time will Nigerian artiste Reekado Banks. The two recorded a song together and we can now anticipate a big continental song when it finally drops onto the airwaves.

When he broke onto the scene with ‘Farmer’ just two years ago, we all thought it was just one of those one-hit wonders that have dominated our music industry in previous years. Mpaka Records CEO Ykee Benda is now one of the biggest names in Uganda, and East Africa, and he is aiming for that African crown as well.

Just after releasing his collaboration with the American global music icon Jason Derulo with whom he did the ‘Colours‘ the official 2018 FIFA World Cup theme song, Ykee Benda has hit studio again this time with one of Africa’s top talents – Nigeria’s Reekado Banks.

Reekado Banks was in Uganda since last week working on a few projects and doing media tours. He is part of the famous Mavins Records, a Nigerian record label with many other stars like Don Jazzy, Di’Ja, Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, among others.

Ykee Benda managed to hook up with Reekado Banks and the two recorded a song together, and it is reported that they went ahead and shot the video as well. The song was produced by the talented producer Nessim, and we cannot wait to listen to that collaboration in particular.
