The self-proclaimed ‘god of hip-hop’ GNL Zamba seems to have figured out a mega plan for a come back to the active music scene. The rapper is anticipating on holding a concert before the end of this year.
One of the best ever concerts by a hip-hop rapper in Uganda was GNL Zamba’s Riddles Of Life concert which he held in 2009. The LugaFlo star proved critics wrong when his concert sold out and it inspired many other hip-hop artistes who never believed the genre is respected enough to attract such huge crowds.
Despite a very successful music career, GNL Zamba has been AWOL for a few past years in which he had even relocated to USA but he never lost the dream and he is back with two brand new albums. The comeback of Zamba can be attributed to his reply in the ‘Who Is Who’ challenge which was received positively by many music fans who thought the rapper had lost his greatness when he stopped releasing music.
The Baboon Forest CEO is now planning on releasing two albums; ‘Nsimbi’, and ‘The Spear’ which he hopes will dominate the airwaves and furthermore enable him hold a concert before the end of this year.
Zamba broke the good news to his faithfuls through a social media post that read;
I would like to thank all my fans that have supported me throughout my career from Kawempe to Hollywood. We have more to come and are just getting started on #KoyiKoyi2. I have two albums for you this year. ‘Nsimbi’ and ‘The Spear’ it is going to be a movie. #TheMasterFormular Are you ready for a UG concert this year ?
Well, let’s wish him the very best for his plans.
