Despite Sheebah Karungi snatching his already proposed date of 30th November as the day on which she will hold her concert, Jose Chameleone has not stopped planning ahead for another date that he will finally fix for his ‘Legend Again’ concert to take place.

The Leone Island Music Empire boss is now targeting legendary Jamaican artiste Shabba Ranks as to come and grace his concert. Shabba Ranks aged 52, is a dancehall artiste who dominated the industry in the 90s, and is surely an inspiration to many artistes of the current generation including Chameleone himself.

Jose Chameleone is looking forward to cementing his legacy in music before he finally calls it a day in the industry that he helped revolutionize. Shabba Ranks is a great pick for a concert and we can agree that Ugandans will flock whichever venue he might pick for the show.

During an interview, Chameleone said;

I admired Shabba so much, I wished I could be as big as he is. I feel like I have tried. I feel like I am as big as Shabba in my country and probably the continent. I just want him to be around and realize how big the boy who used to admire him has become.

The ‘Champion’ singer last year promised to organize his next show at Namboole Stadium after filling up Lugogo Cricket Oval. Could this be the kind of show to fill up Mandela National Stadium? Or would it be such a big risk to take?

Well, we shall wait and see how this unfolds.
