Ray G just completed constructing his own mansion which he unveiled to his fans. The big house is located in Mbarara, his home town, and is worth millions. This should motivate many artistes to look at music as a lucrative business.
Ray G, real names Muhairwe Reegan was born and raised in Ishaaka. He recorded his first hit single Amarari at Lyrics Records at such a young age in 2013 but nobody knew he would take up the region by storm. Today he is arguably western Uganda’s finest talents at the moment and he has proof of what he has achieved from the music business.
For many, music is a passion first and a business later. That is the case for Ray G who has started ripping big from the music industry. The young singer showed off his new house, shocking many fans and artistes who started singing even before him.

Popular for his songs ‘Mureebe’, ‘Amarari’, ‘Enshazi’, and his latest ‘Nkwine’, Ray G unleashed the fruits of his hustle very much to the surprise of many fans and fellow artistes, most of whom actually joined the music business years ago before him. Many kept asking how he has made it so fast with the common saying that goes, ‘Okikola otya’?

The singer attributed his early achievement to music saying that since breaking out and choosing to focus mainly on music, he has achieved a lot and the mic is still working magic for him. He plans on releasing a couple more songs this year and has no intentions of quitting the business that feeds him any time soon.

Ray G’s achievement is likely to inspire a few more artistes especially in his region to star looking at music as a business, and not rather just an activity of passing time and spending lavishly.
Surely, for Ray G, the mic is working.
That’s good brother, very interesting
