Big Kenyan music boy band, Sauti Sol are still leaving by their promise of dropping new singles every month up to November 2018 latest being “Short & Sweet” featuring Veteran Rapper Nyashinski.
Sauti Sol is a Kenyan afro-pop band that was formed in Nairobi by vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano and Savara Mudigi in 2005. It was Initially an a cappella group and later guitarist Polycarp Otieno joined before they named themselves Sauti.
According to their management, the kenyan boy band had promised to release a song every month till November this year and by look of things they are still on track since their latest song “Short & Sweet” featuring veteran Rapper Nyashinski was part of a bold monthly release schedule for the year.
Short and Sweet is a slow beat summarising the African club nightlife in which their Lead singer Bien Barasa kicks off the rhythm with mad energy narrating how a lady who had rejected him fell for him.
According to Nyashinski, he was delighted to work with the Kenyan superstar band.
“Even before I came back to Kenya, I was always in a were of the works of Sauti Sol. It’s amazing how we struck a cord almost immediately, and we’ve grown to become friends. I always believed this (working together) was going to happen at some point; the actualization is an honor,”
Sauti Sol also couldn’t hide their excitement but went ahead to share with there fans on facebook and here is what they posted.
