Qute Kaye was almost lynched today morning for allegedly stealing car mirrors and indicators in the areas of Busega. He was caught by a mob who almost sent him to his creator. What really happened to the newly converted child of God?

Qute Kaye is a Ugandan artiste who rose to fame in 2003 after being discovered in the CocaCola Popstars talent search project. His song ‘Ginkese’ found a quick way into people’s hearts making him a fans’ favorite. His good looks and unique voice won him various fans, mostly female, and he had such a big following in his early music career.

His stardom however began to fade when he failed to add more melodious songs to his early releases, losing fans and hence the income that he used to earn from music concurrently declined. His livelihood was constantly questioned by different media houses with many connecting him to strange diseases and death rumors.

Qute Kaye resurfaced to the public eye last year when he converted his faith at the 77 DOGS crusade at Pastor Robert Kayanja Ministries. He confessed his sins and promised to change as he was welcomed by the church with open arms. He reformed, joined the church choir but later fell out with his pastor after allegedly plotting to selloff the Prado TX that was gifted to him when he gave his life to Christ.

News making rounds now however is that Qute Kaye was this morning caught red-handed by a mob as he was trying to unscrew car indicators from parked cars in the areas of Busega. The singer, in sorry state, was almost lynched by the mob for alleged theft.

A few people claim it was a scene in his new music video shoot, but others assert that he was indeed caught stealing. We shall keep you updated on the story as it unfolds.
