VIDEO: Qute Kaye apologizes, embarks on new music

Singer Qute Kaye who was caught stealing car indicators has apologized for his acts and promised to reform into a better person. He was joined by fellow musicians who now want him to get busy again in studio so as to put his life back on track.

It has probably been the most trending story for the past two days as Qute Kaye, real names Ivan Kauma, was nabbed stealing car indicators in Busega. The singer was rescued by police from angry mobs who wanted to lynch him. He was arrested, detained, but later rescued by a one Mycor Lu and later joined by fellow artistes who promised to help him in his life’s endeavors henceforth.

Qute Kaye almost lynched for allegedly stealing car indicators

Immediately after his release, many artistes including Abdul Mulaasi, Mesach Semakula, among others met Qute Kaye to understand exactly what had happened and see a way forward. In an interview with Spark TV, the singer apologized in company of Mesach Semakula and promised to reform into a better person.

Qute Kaye will be taken to court with charges opened against him pinning him to theft. Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire said the singer confessed to stealing a headlight from a car and will be charged for the offence.

Well, at least he was saved from the worst. We hope he reforms as he promises.
