Ykee Benda shoots new video in Sierra Leone

Singer Ykee Benda is one of the few who perfect their art before letting it out for the fans’ consumption. That is the reason why his projects are always unique from the rest. Well, he spends the money too. He traveled all the way to Sierra Leone and shot his new music video from there.

The Mpaka Records CEO Ykee Benda is all about the major moves. Just after releasing the ‘Colors’ World Cup project on which he is featured by global icon  Jason Derulo, Ykee Benda just dug deep in his pockets to make sure his next project is just as big.

Ykee Benda and Tony Trust.

He is working with a video director known as Patro whom he flew to Sierra Leone all the way from USA just to shoot this particular project. He also traveled with some of his crew members to the West African country. He gave the reasons why he chose to shoot a video in Sierra Leone and not anywhere else as;

I wanted to get a perfect portrayal of a war-torn country and the nature of livelihood of the people living there. Also, I wanted to get the feel of the Atlantic Ocean.

The video was shot successfully and will be released anytime soon.

We cannot wait!
