As strange as this may sound, it is true and quite absurd. Jose Chameleone failed to perform for an empty hall after just a handful of fans turned up for his concert in the United Kingdom over the weekend. Could it have flopped because of Wizkid who had a concert in London that same day?

The self proclaimed Heavyweight Jose Chameleone had a concert in UK on Saturday 26th May 2018. The show was organised by the self proclaimed Rubaga South MP Joel Yiga the CEO Uganda Youth Convention UK. As usual, the anticipations were high to see how big a crowd Jose Chameleone would pull off.

Shockingly however, by the time Chameleone was set to come on stage, there were only a handful of revelers at the venue. The Royal Regency is usually filled up with many Ugandans who attend to support their local stars every time they perform in the UK but just a few people and the staff at the venue were visible in the video that circulated online.

Jose Chameleone is reported then to have refused to perform for empty chairs and there is nothing the promoter could do about that. Many reasons have been raised as to why the show must have flopped including one that Nigerian star Wizkid was also performing in London at the Afro Republic Festival on that same night and he pulled off such a huge crowd of over 20,000 people at the O2 Arena.

Could Chameleoe be losing ground musically? Or was it just one bad day at work? Whatever the case, Chameleone is still a big artiste withe many hits dominating the industry since 1999.
