The 5th edition of the Bakiga Nation took place yesterday at the Hilltop Gardens Naguru. The annual event celebrated its fifth year of existence with mammoth crowds that gathered at the Naguru venue to interact and have fun. There were performances from different artistes.
Themed Rukundo Egumeho to mean Let Love Prevail, the Bakiga Nation is one of the best festivals in Uganda currently. Some refer to it as a better version of Blankets And Wine festival, and they do have a point in that as regards the revelers that flock Naguru hill.
Bakiga Nation is an event where Bakiga and friends meet in celebration of their culture, togetherness, solidarity by Bakiga through the Arts (music, poetry, artifacts, etc.), conventions, and merchandise among others. On 3rd of June 2018, Bakiga Nation was hosted we have some photos from the event.
