Dr. Tee, real names Travis Kazibwe is an artiste, music producer, and song writer whose music became prominent in the mid 2000s. He has been elected as the new UPRS board chairman by fellow members. Among others who were voted include Chance Nalubega, and Joanita Kawalya.

In 2011, he switched from worldly music to doing gospel music and became a full time evangelist with Clear Ministries Church of God in Kazo. Since then, his general impact in the music industry has been largely behind the scenes and it could be the reason he was voted by fellow members to lead the UPRS board.

The Uganda Performing Rights Association was formed in 1985 to help advance the cause of copyright administration in the country. Its operation is basically effected by signed members with more artistes joining the association to reap the fruits of their hard work.

The general elections held yesterday were shunned by majority of the currently trending and big artistes who belong to the Save Ugandan Music initiative. Dr. Tee was voted as the Board Chairperson, Joanita Kawalya as the Vice-chairperson, and  Chance Nalubega as the Woman Representative on the board.
