Ugandan comedian has been declared the winner of the ‘2nite Dance Challenge’, exactly a day after his death. ‘2nite’ is a song by fast rising Nigerian artiste, Sean Dampte, and he declared the fallen comedian as the winner of the online dance challenge today.

Sean Dampte, born Oluwaseun Oluyole, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, that has easily found his way to the top in the overly talented music industry. In promotion of his new song titled ‘2nite’, Sean started a dance challenge where people were to record themselves dancing to the song and post the videos online.

Many fans and followers from across the world did take part in the ‘2nite Dance Challenge’ including Uganda’s renown comedian and dancer, King Kong MC. His video, which was posted on YouTube on 22nd May 2018, gathered over 36,000 views and he was declared the winner of the challenge just a day after his mysterious death.

King Kong MC, real names Hassan Sempala, is said to have developed a fever on Friday which is said to have caused his death on 17th June 2018. His lifeless body was found by friends laying in his bed at his home in Kanyanya, a Kampala suburb.

The comedian has been popular for his comical dance videos and has worked with various big name African artistes including Eddy Kenzo, Awilo Longomba, Kozy G, among others. He survived a fatal accident in 2015 which left him with just one eye but he persevered and had made a name for himself before his death.

Sean Dampte announced King Kong as the eventual winner of the ‘2nite Dance Chaellenge’ through his social media platforms;

Well, talk about a legacy left!
