Sheila Saltofte, the presenter of The City Magazine show on Magic 1 HD TV, is still in shock after she was attacked last night at her home in Muyenga by robbers who hit her friend severely and robbed property worth millions of shillings.

Born Sheila Salta, Sheila Saltofte is quite a common face on Uganda’s television having worked as a presenter for WBS TV (Teens Club), Urban TV (Backstage Pass), and now with Magic 1 HD where she covers The City Magazine Show on which she hosts different celebrities every Wednesday. She has also appeared in a couple of music videos as a vixen including Radio and Weasel’s ‘Juicy Juicy’.

Last night at around 3:30am, while in company of a friend only known as Maxim GK Steurbaut, the 26 year old was attacked at her home in Muyenga by four masked men who robbed various property. Maxim was hit severely on the head leaving him with serious injuries. He is currently admitted at IHK hospital Muyenga as he is steadily responding to treatment.

Maxim (middle), was severely beaten but is steadily improving.

The Ugandan music industry has lost various celebrities to unknown gangs who attack and beat them up to near death, sometimes without even taking any of their possessions. Despite the continued streak of crime, little has been done to protect the celebrities who continue living in fear.

We wish Maxim a quick recovery!
