Mowzey Radio’s death was predicted to be a start to many endings and we have already seen some truth in that with the way most projects he was involved in have gradually been abandoned. His charity school, St Maria Goretti Primary School in Buziga was also eventually closed.

Mowzey Radio was pronounced dead on 1st February after a bar brawl at a hangout spot known as De Bar in Entebbe.

In his earlier life, around 2015 with the money he generated from music, Mowzey Radio opened up a charity school in Buziga to help facilitate young pupils in the area with education and basic needs. St Maria Goretti Primary School became a home to many children for all this time until when it was closed.

It is reported that after Mowzey Radio’s death, a few artistes and music fans joined hands to ensure that the school could continue so as to keep Radio’s legacy alive. They mobilized funds which kept the facility going, but not for long. One of the reasons that has led to the closure of the school now is lack of funding which has forced parents to pullout their children from the school eventually leading to its closure.

The land on which the school was located is also reported to have been grabbed by rich residents around the area and very soon the school structures will as well be demolished, putting an end to a great man’s dream.
