The 2018 FIFA World Cup finals are taking place on Sunday 15th July and Bebe Cool has already pledged his support for the French side. The Gagamel CEO placed a stake of $2000 on France walking away with the top prize.

One of the most vocal sports fans in the music industry is Bebe Cool who supports English Premier League side Arsenal Football Club. In this World Cup, he has been a fan of Belgium, and France which booked its place in the final.

While appearing on the Just Darren online sports show, the host Darren Allan Kyeyune, asked Bebe Cool about which team he thought would win the tournament’s final match between France and Croatia. Without hesitation, the ‘Freedom’ singer picked France.

He went ahead to place a bet of $2000 on France’s win. He noted that he did expect France to play in the finals of this year’s world cup because the players in the team had the right attitude coming into the tournament and also the coach’s selection was spot on.

I am definitely putting $2000 on that. I think Croatia has done a very good job but that’s it. Let’s be fair, in sports there is hard work and many other things that tag along success but at the moment I think it is high time for France to win this.

Bebe Cool said that he is confident France will win it because their style of play is unpredictable and they are very patient in the game. He mentioned other factors that will contribute to France’s win. Watch the video below;
