Despite both artistes putting the rumors about a possible music battle to bed, Cindy and Sheebah seem to be at a war of words with each of them occasionally pointing out each other’s weaknesses. Cindy has now attacked other fellow artistes who fail to perform on stage.

In the modern world, there is a category of artistes that have been termed as the ‘TV artistes’. These are musicians who have the best music videos, best trends and following on social media, fashionable, styled up – name it, but are totally the opposite when they step on the stage to perform.

Arguably, Cindy is one of the best performers in East Africa. In various recent interviews, she has put her ability to perform on a live band as her strength over other female artistes in the music industry.

The Onnina singer rehearses and performs with her live band on a weekly basis to keep her voice and stage presence as sharp as it can be.

The King Herself attacked fellow artistes who cannot put up a spirited performance on stage, likening them to ‘a lotion in a very attractive container which doesn’t do anything to the skin’.

When the King speaks, the subjects listen and obey. Or do they?
