Thanatophobia is the fear of death, and that is exactly what comes to Levixone Lucas’ mind whenever he is presented with an opportunity to travel to Tanzania. The gospel singer however conquered his fears over the past week with his first trip there since 2013.

Everybody has a phobia, that extreme fear of something. Usually it is as a result of what happened in the past and for Levixone Lucas, it was the death of his big brother Mac Elvis on 18th October 2013. Elvis was a gospel singer behind big songs like ‘Church Boy’, ‘Topowa Game’, among others.

He reportedly died when he drowned in a swimming pool in Tanzania where he had gone with other artistes on an evangelistic trip to schools and local communities.

The trip that was filled with memories, tears, and moments of fear however saw him conquer his fears and he had the opportunity to minister at one of the schools which Mac Elvis had ministered the same week he died.
