Famous social media influencer, Pyepar Faisal, has apologized to all those he wronged before his popular Twitter account was suspended for violating the Twitter policy. Among those he trolled endlessly were feminists who are now having a go at his suspension with the last laugh.
The term ‘Tweleb’ is a celebrity who has a lot of followers on Twitter. A blend of the words ‘Twitter’ and ‘celeb’ (short for ‘celebrity’). There is quite a number of these in Uganda and they normally do brand influencing for a living and sometimes as side jobs.
Ssesanga Faisal, commonly known as Pyepar, has come under scrutiny unfollowing Twitter’s new exercise to clean up fake followers and crack down down on trolls which saw him lose his Twitter account. The account is said to have had a following of up to 47,000 followers and more.
Pyepar’s Twitter account is among the millions that have been permanently suspended over time for breach of Twitter rules.

As a result of losing his prized possession, Ssesanga is said to have suffered stress and depression over what he described as part of his life and his ‘daily bread’. The Tweleb has therefore decided to step up and revive his falling fame by creating a new identity on the Twitter app.
Back on Twitter and begging for followers under the handle @PyeparFaisal, slightly different from the suspended handle, Faisal has also thrown a party at Valhalla Bar to celebrate his come back and essence of influencers which he says most people don’t appreciate.
The Tweleb took to Twitter to decry his critics who are jubilating his suspension as seen in the thread below;
Seen a lot of chatter online abt me losing my account (Pyepar). Some mocking me, others criticizing the party & some showing love (Thank you) so let me put some things straight #Thread pic.twitter.com/7HIgPQ0vu7
