The 2018 Young Achiever’s Awards are here and the nominations lists are out. Rema Namakula and Eddy Kenzo were nominated in the Performing Arts category.

At a dinner ceremony held on Wednesday night at Kampala Serena Hotel, Eddy Kenzo and Rema Namakula were handed nominations in the Performing Arts category where they will tussle it out with the H2C Dance Group, Ivan Mulumba who is an author, and Felix Byaruhanga the Founder of the Tribe Ug.

A list of 45 people includes a few who are bound to scoop awards in various categories on 18th August 2018. The awards look forward to identifying the best young achievers in the categories of innovations and ICT, social entrepreneurship, farming and agro processing, business, fashion, performing arts, sports, film, among others annually.

Rema Namakula has stood out among other female artistes overtime. Her music as well as achievements have influenced fellow females to work hard. Eddy Kenzo on the other hand is a huge influence to many youths who look at his life story as an inspiration to keep going.
