The self-proclaimed King Of Mwooyo, Maurice Kirya, has been criticized for speaking sacrilegiously after calling himself the ‘Black Jesus’. A few sections of his followers have now turned against him claiming that they cannot rally behind someone blasphemous to that extent.

Music might be going well for Maurice Kirya with his song Crippin’ receiving massive airplay. His family is also doing well as they raise the newborn. His social media platforms are as well booming, but probably not for best of reasons.

Maurice posted a photo of himself, looking graciously to the sky with dreads rolling down his head and the caption, “Black Jesus???”.

As you would expect, a few fans rushed to comment about his looks and there were a few more critical ones who questioned his likeliness to Jesus. Others threatened to unfollow because they could not handle the blasphemous post.

Like any other celebrity, a few diehards said people were misinterpreting Maurice Kirya’s caption because he did not claim he was Jesus, but rather phrased a question. Well take a look at the post below and let us know what you think;
