Bobi Wine reportedly arrested as his driver is shot dead

Kyadondo East constituency Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine’s driver identified as Yasin Kawooya was shot dead a few hours ago reportedly by security forces in Arua.

Bobi Wine, among other opposition strongholds have been in Arua the whole day amidst campaigns for the opposition candidate Kasiano Wadri ahead of the by-election to replace slain Member of Parliament Ibrahiim Abiriga.

Bobi Wine tweeted saying that his driver had been shot by yet to be identified people thinking they had shot at him. He also alerted that his hotel had been condorned off by Police and SFC.


Bobi Wine and his other comrades including Selector Davie, his brother Fred Nyzani commonly known as Chairman Nyanzi, Eddie Mutwe, Honorable Zaake, among other supporters are believed to have been arrested by Special Forces Command (SFC) personnel.
