Kyadondo East Member of Parliament and singer Robert Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine is set to appear before the court martial on Thursday.
Bobi Wine is reportedly being charged with treason, malicious damage of the president’s vehicle, and illegal possession of fire arms.
While appearing before fellow parliamentarians, Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Moses Ali revealed that Bobi Wine will appear before the army court on Thursday 16th August 2018.
Moses Ali was called upon by the speaker to give an update of where fellow MPs, who were reported missing, had been taken. Some MPs who took part in the campaigns ahead of the Arua Municipality bi-elections which took place today (Wednesday 15th August) have been missing since Tuesday night.
Hon. Zaake Francis Butebi earlier revealed how he was severely beaten and dumped in a forest. He is currently admitted in hospital as he nurses wound. Hon. Gerald Karuhanga, Nyanzi Fred and candidate Kasiano Wadri are reportedly still being held under custody.

Hon. Bobi Wine, according to Moses Ali, was found with an SMG riffle during his arrest on Monday evening, following the chaos in Arua that led to shooting of his driver.

Bobi Wine is currently under watch after being flown to a military hospital in Gulu where he is undergoing treatment as he awaits to appear before the Court Martial tomorrow.
Speaker Rebecca Kadaga suspended parliament sessions earlier today asking government to explain the whereabouts of MPs that were missing.
