While most of you spent sleepless nights voting for your family, friends, and role models in the recently concluded Miss Uganda 2018 beauty pageant, former Obsessions lead singer Sharon O was busy trashing the entire pageant.
On Friday 10th August 2018, 22 year old Quinn Abenakyo was crowned Miss Uganda 2018 at an event held at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
The event was attended by some of the top celebrities in East Africa with Zari Hassan being a patron and judge at the the colorful beauty pageant. Everything went well, and unlike the past few editions, this one was met with applause. Except for Sharon O of course.
Sharon O who is widely known for her stint as the lead singer of popular girl group The Obsessions and her participation in the 2011 Big Brother Africa edition.
Her relationship with Zari Hassan is not the very best as well after she was constantly linked to the late Ivan Semwanga as The Bosslady’s replacement when she broke up with the don in 2014.
Sharon came out hard and strongly criticized the Miss Ugandan pageant calling it ‘a waste of time’.
Sharon O does not understand why too much money and time goes on to be wasted by the Miss Uganda organizers yet her, the most beautiful queen is available and ready to take her crown.
