With the ongoing political situation in the country that has left a few dead, some nursing injuries, and Bobi Wine incarcerated, the general public has resorted to depopularizing the government. Singer Rema Namakula thinks it is a wrong thing to do.

Rema Namakula, together with several other musicians, paid a visit to Bobi Wine’s home in Magere on Sunday afternoon to have a chat with the incarcerated MP’s wife Barbie Kyagulanyi.

Many issues were discussed all in an effort to see a way forward towards having Bobi Wine released from jail where he is being remanded on treason charges. Also his health conditions were discussed after having been badly tortured during his arrest on Monday 13th August 2018.

Rema Namakula has urged Ugandans that have gathered together in the Free Bobi Wine campaign to avoid being taken up by the bandwagon and stop hurling insults at the government.

She advises that they should rather get on their knees and pray for their leader’s health and freedom, and for peace in the entire country as well.
