Eddy Kenzo started out as an affiliate to Bobi Wine‘s music camp, the Fire Base Crew. He is now vowing to using his strongest weapon, music, to fight for the incarcerated legislator’s freedom.
A friend in need, is a friend indeed. Eddy Kenzo is not sitting back for any single minute to watch Bobi Wine rot in jail without doing anything. The singer who has been a longtime friend to the Ghetto President is now resorting to using his music to fight for the rights of a man who changed his life.

For the fact, Eddy Kenzo’s first breakthrough song that acquired massive airplay was Yanimba on which he featured Bobi Wine’s young brother Mickie Wine. Since then Eddy Kenzo has never looked back and has gone on to become one of Uganda’s legendary singers with unequaled global achievements.

Kenzo now feels the urge to give back and stay loyal to the person who made him something at the time he needs him most. He already released a song titled Mbakooye preaching against oppression and the general political situation in the country.
He has also vowed to make more songs because it is his only weapon he has to make a change.
