The search for the queen of Miss Tourism West Nile Region was on Saturday held at the Heritage Courts Arua. And 22-year-old Lebu Laura emerged as the overall winner of the contest.
Lebu, who hails from Adjumani district beat 10 other contestants to the crown as she eloquently answered her questions.
Not only was she sharp upstairs, but also the way she was prepared and the back up support she had rallying behind her gave her all the confidence and self-belief that she could well represent her region at the final stage.
Sandra Alum ,24, from Pawkwach and Jackie Celine Asibazuyo ,20, from Arua emerged as first and second runner’s up respectively.
The three finalists will represent the West Nile region at the final stage come October at Kampala Serena Hotel.
