Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Honorable Kyagulanyi Robert Sentamu, commonly known as Bobi Wine, and Mityana Municipality MP Honorable Francis Zaake are reportedly set to travel abroad for treatment.
The two Ugandan legislators were part of the 33 people who were arrested on 13th August after president Museveni’s lead convoy car was stoned in Arua ahead of the region’s by-elections.
Bobi Wine and Zaake are said to have been tortured by security operatives which greatly injured their bodies and now they seek medical attention form specialized doctors abroad to fully recover from the effects of torture.
Both are now set to travel to London to receive improved treatment as recommended by local healthcare in order to recover quickly and resume their respective duties in parliament.
