The ‘Bosco’ advertisement seems to have taken Uganda by storm. The popular advert is now putting prominent deejay Sir. Aludah in trouble after an attempted arrest by police who claim he was inciting violence by playing it in a bar.
Aludah says that he was nearly arrested by police with claims that by him playing the MTN Bosco advert in a bar, he was inciting violence.

Through his twitter account, Sir. Aludah desires to know why the O/C of Kira Road Police station tried to arrest him on the night of Saturday 1st September 2018 for playing the MTN Bosco Ad.
Aludah does not understand how a mere song can land him in trouble and needs enlightenment on how it incites trouble.
Dear @PoliceUg ,
— Sir. Aludah (@DjAludah) September 4, 2018
I would like to know why the "OC" of Kira Road Police station tried to arrest me last Saturday night for playing the @mtnug BOSCO Ad. His claim was that I was inciting violence by playing that song/ad. How, I have no idea. Kindly enlighten me.
Thanks.
The above mentioned Ad. is one that has increasingly grown popular for clips that made circulation on social media with the ‘Bosco’ character being replaced with Museveni.
We are yet to hear from the police on the matter but we shall keep you posted on the issue.
