Several people from ailing Kyadondo East lawmaker Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine led the chorus of a dozen tributes Saturday night following the brutal assassination of maverick police officer Mohammed Kirumira.

“I just got the terrible news of the shooting of my good friend, and out spoken police officer Mohammed Kirumira and his dear wife. Very sadly, that is the country we are living in.  NO ONE IS SAFE. Our country is bleeding. This is very painful”, Bobi Wine posted on his Facebook account.

“Ohhh Lord!! I’m speechless!!! bloodshed in my motherland, again!!!. Rest in peace my brother Kirumira Mohammed”, the Kampala Lord mayor  Erias Lukwago wrote.

“SAD NEWS…RIP.. pray for our Country”, Sasha VyBz a famous video producer posted.

“Condolence to Friends, Family, Colleges and dear wife’s family too. Very saddening indeed. Rest In Peace Afande Mohammed Kirumira May the almighty make us all strong in times of trial. LEONE ISLAND MYSIC EMPIRE”, Jose Chameleone posted. 

For singer Alexander Bagonza alias A Pass called Uganda a mad man country that we are living in as he went on to pay tribute.

“Almost everyday something unexpected happens in Uganda, now days I don’t understand the kind of country we are living in, Uganda is becoming something else, Kirumira and his wife are now dead. This is very sad, how will their kids handle this big loss of both their parents… its a mad man country we are living in. #RipKirumira.
