Kyadondo East MP, Mr Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine’s bodyguard Eddie Ssebuufu alias Eddie Mutwe did not appear before Gulu court reportedly because judge had traveled to Kampala.
Eddie Mutwe was supposed to appear before court today on charges related to treason and chaos that happened in Arua Municipality during the by-election.
So, apparently he is still detained at Gulu Police Station and when charged he will be joining the 33 members who are also facing the same offence.
The constitution demands that any person arrested, should be formally brought to court within 48 hours or be freed.
The notable suspects charged for the Arua chaos include MPs Mr Robert Kyagulanyi, Mr Paul Mwiru, Mr Kasiano Wadri, Mr Gerald Karuhanga, Mr Mike Mabike among others.
