On 21st April 2017, Diplo together with Walshy Fire performed at the Golf Course Hotel, Kampala. They will be returning to Uganda to perform courtesy of Club Pilsener.
Born Thomas Wesley Pentz, Diplo is an American DJ, producer and one of the founders of electronic music trio Major Lazer. The 39 year old has worked with global music icons and is highly respected in the entertainment industry.
The Grammy award winner performed alongside Walshy Fire who played the role of a hype man at the Diplo concert in April last year.
They performed for massive crowds with revelers who paid to witness the exceptional skills of the deejay duo who are part of the Major Lazer electronic dance music deejay trio.

Diplo will join his other two associates who form Major Lazer to return to Kampala in October to perform at the ‘Refresh Your Beat with Major Lazer Sound System’ concert happening on 8th October 2018 at Sheraton Gardens.
