Celebrated pop star-cum-lawmaker Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine labeled Ugandan ambassador in the US Mr Mull Sebujja Katende, as someone paid to be stupid and whose intelligence ceased to matter.
The Kyadondo East MP, Bobi Wine, made the statements during an interview on Voice Of America talk show Straight Talk Africa while he was expressing his disappointments in the ambassador of Republic of Uganda in Washington DC on Wednesday.

During the talk show hosted by Shaka Ssali, Bobi Wine in reply to Mr Amb. Katende’s statements about his improving health conditions and the situation in Uganda, quoted former Presidential candidate Mr Norbert Mao’s words and put them straight into the face of Mr Katende.
Norbert Mao said that if you’re paid to be stupid, your intelligence ceases to matter. I am very disappointed to see a person I hold high in regard say such things and I believe when he leaves he will regret these words. Uganda is not a kingdom

Bobi Wine went on to say that by the time President Museveni came to power he was only four years. He furthermore noted that Uganda is not a kingdom, it is republic but our president has been changing faces all this time.
