Born Elysha Mutebi, 26 year old Ely Dre is joining the Big Talent Entertainment record label with dreams of flourishing under Eddy Kenzo‘s experienced musical wings.

Eddy Kenzo is not new to nurturing talent and he takes pride in it. Singers like Big Eye, Geosteady, Tip Swizzy, Gravity Omutujju, Levixone, among others have all been nurtured directly by the Big Talent Entertainment boss.

Kenzo is now looking at restrengthening his record label after various former recruits graduated and are having a good ride in the active music industry. He now sets his sights on the younger lesser known talents and the newest recruit to join the label is Ely Dre.

Serious Business: Ely Dre and Eddy Kenzo

Ely is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, pianist, and established live performer who started his musical journey at an early age of 10 as a church boy. He only ventured into commercial music in 2012 and his exceptional skills have seen him perform with popular bands like S&S Band and Band Cindy.

“Elysha is a good artiste and as Big Talent, we feel we are in position to help him change his story”

Like any other artiste, Ely Dre is really excited to be joining one of the most popular record labels in Ugandan music. About the deal that was signed on 14th September 2018, Ely had this to say;

“This is one of the happiest moments in my life ever. This is the beginning of a new era. I can’t wait to give to the world what I have in store for all of you.”

He now joins Pia Pounds, and Nu York, and other artistes that are signed to the record label which seems to have everything figured out on how to get the best out of someone.

We wish him the very best and we cannot wait to see more of what he is made of.
