When Eddy Kenzo signed up Pia Pounds onto the Big Talent Entertainment record label, rumors arose that it was not a move based on merit but rather the relationship between both artistes.
Media pinned Pia Pounds’ move to competition stating that the songstress was recruited into the camp just as Rema’s competition. Rema Namakula is Eddy Kenzo’s known fiancee and baby mama and at the time, the two were said to have been at loggerheads.

For a moment, Eddy Kenzo had decided to keep his mouth shut about the entire affair allegations but when he was unveiling his new signing Ely Dre onto the record label, it seemed to be an issue that itched him for long and he could not resist the urge to mention how professional he is and that the whole affair thing was fake news.

Eddy Kenzo stated that many people question about Pia Pounds’ musical development since she joined Big Talent but she has three music videos to her name in a space of seven months.
The singer also claims that Pia’s haters formed groups on social media to oppose all her progress yet she is an innocent female trying to make a living out of her career.
He states that his main intention in signing Pia Pounds was to help her achieve her dreams because she too was raised from the ghetto. He intends to keep pushing her till she can stand on her own.
If you want to be in good terms with Kenzo, better leave Pia Pounds alone.
