When you come to East Africa, you gotta be very careful about who you deal with. Or should you? Nigerian superstar Tiwa Savage is telling her story of how unprofessional Kenyan promoters are after her firsthand experience.

Over the weekend, MAVINS Supreme Dynasty songstress Tiwa Savage was in Kenya for the launch of Redsan’s fifth album. The show went on well in Nairobi until it was time to leave.

The ‘Key To Di City’ singer claims that after performing, she went back to hotel to prepare for her flight back to Nigeria. To her surprise however, at the time of departure, she was faced with an altercation with the hotel’s management over an unsettled bill.

Tiwa who says it was supposed to be the promoters’ responsibility to clear that bill says it even got worse when she inquired about how they were going to make it to office because there were no preparations for any transportation as they had earlier agreed with the promoter.

She tried to call the promoters into action but all their numbers were off, very much to her displeasure. The songstress took her dissatisfaction to twitter where she claimed she was harshly treated.

Despite all however, Tiwa Savage says that Kenya is one country she dearly loves and will continue visiting despite whatever happened because the fans are innocent and barely know what happens behind the scenes.

Sorry Tiwa!
