A case of mistaken identity – because of her red dress, Big Talent Entertainment songstress Pia Pounds was arrested by security personnel at Entebbe International Airport, detained, but later released after social media rants from her fans.

The color red has of late been attached to a section of political activists identifying themselves as ‘People Power’. The group led by Bobi Wine is rapidly growing popular globally and red is its color.

Bobi Wine was expected to return today from the USA where he has been undergoing treatment. The entire nation and region was aware of his return but somehow Pia Pounds did not take notice and she did not pay attention to what she wore.

The ‘Wawangula’ singer found her way to the airport where she had gone to drop a Swedish tourist. On her way back however, she was grabbed by security personnel who mistook her to be part of the ‘People Power’ processions because of her red dress.

The songstress narrated  more about the hard time she spent under custody at Kitooro Police Station and how she was saved by her fans on social media who raised alarms about her arrest demanding that she is freed.
