The family and widows of slain Kyadondo East lawmaker Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine’s driver, Mr. Yasin Kawuma have eventually accepted the 20 million shillings offered by President Museveni.
Initially news had circulated saying that Mr Kawuma’s family had rejected the money of which it was a false report. The family had requested singer Catherine Kusasira, who had brought the money to return Thursday.
Today evening the family with the person supposed to receive the money met Kusasira with the press at Calendar Guest House after a lot of criticism and accepted the money.
As they met an argument erupted when Kusasira put the money on the table with one of Kawuma’s wives, a mother of three, Annet Nansubuga, claiming that father in law, Mr. Salamat Ssebabi could not be trusted with the money.
