The future of dancehall music in Uganda is promising with a new face on the block. HD Music UG is his name and he breaks out with this new song titled ‘Sunda‘ that you will probably love.
One of the richest music genres in the Ugandan music industry is Ragga Dancehall. With various artistes flooding the market, it takes exceptional talent to breakthrough to that desired position in the music ranks.
Seremba Tonny, a.k.a HD Music UG started music at an early age while still a student at Mukono Parents High School in 2006. He was friends with Captain Dolla of the ‘Emesse’ fame.
HD Music UG later joined Stone Valley Records where he met Kripbeats, the main producer at the studios. They formed a group named ‘The Ghetto Warriors’ which consisted of five members including Amoxy (RIP) who he believes inspired and encouraged him towards being who he is today.
He currently works with Sifa House Music together with the talented producer Smart Keys who he met this year. They have worked on various songs together including ‘Sunda’ and many others for which they are currently shooting videos before their eventual release.
Away from music, HD Music UG spends his time with little children who he says give him a peace of mind. He is also a sports fan, an ardent supporter of KCCA FC.
